Yeah I've had the same issue with all custom import leagues. My player budget is at $110,00, I can't see any way to change it and I literally cannot sign or draft ANY players at all. I tried again, this time starting at July 1, going into commissioner mode, I can see the $100K TOTAL player budgets for each team but can not change them. I take over a team and then I get a screen about increasing budgets by using points which doesn't work, then I get a welcome message saying I have a budget of $110,000 to field the entire team.
I don't want to mess with budgets, I just want to draft some players, watch the games and have my assistants do the rest, I don't want to have to fuss with budgets. T
hat's why I say that the main problem with this game is that it's TOO realistic. Unless you're a real-life-experienced GM you have absolutely no shot. The confusing and complex menu systems, having to jump through hoops just to get enough $ to sign ONE player is exacerbating. If I'm doing something massively wrong I wish someone would either fix the bug or tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've been up and down the menus, through the help files and I have found nothing. I have asked about it both here and in Steam Community and have gotten completely ignored. I'm at my wits end with this game.
