Actually it's better this way, you didn't want to be nodding off in the middle of the excitement. This way you were fresh and alert for every nuance. (Yay?)

On the slightly-bright side, once again the Bobby Bragan Special lineup is generating a decent amount of runs. (Lindor is even contributing.) True, the dumpster fire-sale pitching staff isn't exactly turning the support into wins, but at least there's one part of the game going reasonably well, previous fears aside.

(Yes, I have just ensured that the Mets will now be shut out for the next 50 or so innings. I'm aware of that.)
