Anyone running into this, if you can enable tracing mode - if you can get the game to start, you can enable that in the troubleshooting tab in settings. If you can't, then in Steam, if you right click on the game and go to the properties, there's a section for launch options, enter in: tracemode
If you are running standalone, you will need to add it to the app.cfg (open up %appdata%, navigate to Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 25\config, and in the app.cfg file open it in a text editor like notepad and there should be a line trace_mode in there, change the line after it from a 0 to a 1)
After that if you can send in the ootp_trace_xxx from your data/debug folder (often will be a folder like C:\Users\Matt\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 25\debug), that would help see what is happening.
