Season Pass Association News and Rookie Draft
The Season Pass Association held its annual draft yesterday, with the National Park Gulpers selecting Vape Locke of the Fizztop Mountain Conquerors as the first overall pick.
The other top five picks in the draft were:
2. Cranberry Island Hermit Crabs - P Ek Uzun, Holyoke Mech Dragons
3. Quantum Nukalurks - LF Jannider Snoutlick, Ol Sugsartop Buckaroos
4. Wild Gatorclaws - RF Tucker Iceman, Wixon Shovels
5. Quartz Star Force - C Jester Wrexel, Starport Nuka Hubologists
The Season Pass Association, which has had some waning interest now that there is easier access to higher-level baseball in the Boston area, has also made an agreement to sell players for caps to the CBO. No team is allowed to sell more than two players, if any are desired, and each transaction is expected to be a rate of 100,000 caps per player.
CBO commissioner Nate Howard also met with the Bradberton Group about the transaction sequence, agreeing that teams that missed the 2308 playoffs will be the only teams with rights to purchase a single player per CBO team. The four expansion teams are expected to have first rights beginning this week and continuing until December 31.
