I did a bad thing.
In the 1st game against the Rangers, Cruz had a 6-3 lead in the 6th when Barry Bonds hit his 55th HR of the season to tie it up. Fortunately Valentine knocked in 2 in the 8th and we won 8-6. But I am still upset that Bonds is prime Bonds at age 22.
In game 2, Bonds hit his 56th HR to give the Rangers a 5-3 lead in the 6th and when he came up in the 8th, I had Schatzder hit him and Bonds broke a finger and is out for the year. We lost the game, as we should have, but it will be hard for them to make up 4 games with just 8 games left now.
The Jays took the first 2 against the Sox and are now up 1/2 a game and the Dodgers have tied up the Braves. Should be an exciting last week in those races.
