Just checking stats for a 35-year run in my latest test...
The playoff set-up in my 20-team "large market" league features eight teams total, four from each conference.
The Fayetteville Highlanders club made the playoffs 25 times! But ZERO championships. Talk about not being able to win the big one!
Charlotte, which competes in the opposite conference, went to the championship series 10 times over a 13-year-span, winning it all five times.
Meanwhile, the New Bern (Bad News) Bears and Burlington Bees each have one total playoff appearance and no titles over all those years.
I like how this is turning out: a league with \true dynasties, close-but-not-quite teams that are on the cusp every year and some real dogs with fleas...
