2026 Season: The White Sox win it all!
The Chicago White Sox won the World Series in a 4-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Another change to the MLB, this time with a team changing name. John Fisher had a change of heart and decided to keep the Athletics in Oakland, but as he continues to try alienate the A's fanbase even further, he changed their name to the Patriots.
As for the Phillies, their 79-83 record saw them finish 3rd in the NL East, 18 games behind the Mets for the division lead and 8 games out of the playoffs. All in all, the Phillies had the exact same record as in 2025, but were slightly closer to a playoff spot.
