National Park Takes Season Pass Association Crown
It was a storybook year for the National Park Gulpers as they closed out a 4-0 series win over the Victory Cave Crickets to claim the Season Pass Association Championship.
They wrapped it up with a 16-5 victory to cap an incredible season after they brought home their 1st league championship earlier in the year.
The Gulpers manager offered his view of the series.
"We had a lot of things going for us," he said, "offense and defense doing it at the right time. That's what it takes to win it all."
The Cave Crickets manager commented: "We're disappointed we lost, but we're also very proud of what we did all year. They played better baseball than us and they beat us."
During the Vim! League Fog Division regular season, National Park compiled a record of 49-41.

Victory Cave Crickets Take Nuka Series
With a 4-3 win over the Dark Bloodworms tonight at Ol' Sugartop Ballpark at Dry Rock Gulch, the Victory Cave Crickets wrapped up their 4th title in team history.
Victory left little doubt who was the better club. "Team" was the word of the day as the Cave Crickets celebrated the culmination of their banner year in the victors clubhouse following the game.
"Hitting, pitching, fielding; those are all things you need to win, but most importantly you need a team, a team that works together toward the same collective goal," said Victory manager Mauricio Luna. "Our players felt that way all year and they played that way. When one guy had an off day, 24 others stepped up their game and filled the void."
A jovial mood filled the air as Victory celebrated into the night. The city's mayor said parade plans were underway and a "huge celebration" in the works.
"We're going to celebrate our team, our championship Victory Cave Crickets," the mayor said.
The champions completed the regular season with a first-place finish in the North Bradberton Division and a 49-41 record.
