Game 1: 4-6 L. LP-Okuda (4-2, 1.1 6 5 5 1 2). HR-C.Williams (5). A rough start from Okuda put them in an early 5-2 that they couldn't climb out of. Carson Williams did have an RBI double and solo homer.

Game 2: 4-5 L (11). LP-Armstrong (2-3). Starter-Evans (5 7 3 3 3 6). Tough loss as Armstrong gave up a homer to the first man he faced in the 11th to lose it after the Rays sent it to extras with a run in the 9th.

Game 3: 3-4 L (11). LP-Armstrong (2-4). Starter-Acosta (5 7 3 3 3 5). HR-Y.Alvarez (9). Deja vu all over again as the Rays and Ivan Armstrong lost in the 11th - even the starters put up eerily identical lines the last two days as the Rays were swept in a rough weekend in Chicago. Yordan's 3-run homer in the 3rd gave them an early lead but they couldn't do anything the rest of the day.

Team record: 29-23. Luckily the Jays had their own struggles, losing 3 of 4 so there's now a tie atop the AL East. Next up: A day off then 3 games in Seattle.
