Game 1
SP - Giobbe Marinello
A solid outing from Marinello, following two duds, as he pitched seven innings, only giving up two runs, both on a Gigi Silivasi homer in his last inning. The Hares weren’t exactly firing on all cylinders but did get two runs on a Garay homer, and a Rutz single. 2-2. A solo home run by Zurich star Jake West on a Jonathan Baca fastball in the 8th won the game for the Mountaineers 3-2.
Game 2
SP - Rafael Guzman
I’m afraid I don’t have time to describe the endless action in this one, but we lost 10-7, take a look at the box scores!
Game 3
Sergio Rutz and Dam De homers helped the Hares notch up 5 runs in 9 innings, unfortunately the Bison matched them helped by another Jake West hom-run. The Hares put themselves in a good spot when a single by Usamah Kadin brought in the zombie runner, but unfortunately a run of singles in the 10th by the Bison meant they walked off 7-6 to complete the sweep and leave the Hares 3-9 for the season.
