The Angels jumped out to an early lead once again as Rengifo singled to lead off the game, stole 2B, and scored on Joe’s double off the RCF wall.
Josh Lowe tied the game with a massive home run (463 feet) to CF off of Plesac. Isaac Paredes’ RBI single later in the inning made it a 2-1 game. Jose Siri followed with a 3 run HR to give the Rays a 5-1 lead.
The Angels got a run back with back-to-back doubles by Rendon and Thaiss in the 2nd. The Rays continued to pour it on in the bottom of the inning when Brandon Lowe unloaded for a 3 run home run off of reliever Christopher Sanchez. Paredes added a 2 run shot of Sanchez in the 5th.
Final Score: Tampa 11, Los Angeles 2

Good news as Brayan Bello pitched 7 shutout innings in his 1st start for Salt Lake. He allowed 3 hits and struck out 7, but walked 4. Cade Povich also pitched his best game of the year in his last start, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 11.
