It should be another exciting year for the Royals farm system.
J.J. Paniagua,
Luis Gotay, and
Sergio Perales open the season in the Big Leagues, providing another injection of youth into the team.
On the hitting side,
Danny Petty will come back at the end of the system to join
Dan Colligan at AAA, while
Juan Zubia will be looking to impress at AA and join them during the season. Zubia was the first signing of the Stewart era and there is considerable excitement for a player who has consistently sat in the Top 20 prospects in baseball. 2028 and 2030 3rd round picks
Enny Mijhail Van Dyke and
Ian Gordon, along with trade acquisition
Chris Maguire both join Zubia at AA.
The pitching side sees
Eddie Baquerizo,
Mike Hoffer,
Curt Bogans and
Josh Olaniyan all opening in AAA with the hope of breaking into the rotation during the season. It is a top heavy pitching farm and the Royals may be expected to target pitching in the upcoming draft.
