Changes prior to the 1893 Season:
England
- Accrington resigns from the league, ceasing to exist. Their final record was 142-179-45 after 5 seasons, their best finish had just come in 1892 when they came in 8th place.
- Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday are relagated to the Second Division
- Burton, Ardwick and Lincon are promoted to the First Division with Newton Heath remaining to leave the league at 16 teams still
- Bootle resigns from the league
- Liverpool, Newcastle United, Woolwich Arsenal, Middlesbrough Ironopolis and Rotherham Town are allowed into the Second Division, taking it to 15 teams
- Fun fact: Rotherham employed a man named Arthur Wharton, widely considered to be the first black professional football player. Due to this reason, I have included him by name in-game.
- The first official transfer happened in 1893 when Aston Villa bought Willie Groves of West Bromwich for 100 british pounds, which is why I'm enabling trades from this season on. Clubs in England and Scotland (a bit more on that later) will be able to trade/transfer players.

Scotland
- The Scottish Baseball League turns professional, this also allows for teams to transfer players amongst themselves and with English clubs.
- The Second Division is added, with the participation of 10 clubs

Ireland
- Derry Olympic withdraw after a last place season
- Ligoniel returns to the league to keep it at 6 teams

Argentina
- The league makes a return with Buenos Aires and Rosario Railway, Flores, Lomas, Quilmes Rovers and Buenos Aires English High School as members
