Serrano looks poised to earn his first Tlatoani award. On the pitching side, lefty Carlos Casillas was the best on the team, pitching to a 2.39 ERA in 6 starts, complete with a 0.94 WHIP, 18 Ks and 11 walks. The capital city club has looked strong all season long, and they can almost put their hands on their second trophy.
San Luis had a 17-8 month, recovering some ground and jumping into 2nd place. Tampico also had 17 wins (with 9 losses), the Crabs are now tied for 2nd with San Luis. Tampico's John Nestle was named Pitcher of the Month after a 1.27 ERA in 6 starts, striking out 17 and walking 10 for a 0.99 WHIP.
