Sole Survivor Series: Nordhagen Beach Party Boys vs Roxbury Rad Sox
Game 3: Nordhagen Beach 4, Roxbury 2, 11 inn.
Party Boys Win Extended Game 3 Duel with Rad Sox Behind 2 HRs From 3B Hazard
When the games really matter, the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys put on their best show, beating the Roxbury Rad Sox by a final score of 4-2. Justin Hazard went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Nordhagen Beach now leads Roxbury 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Hazard hit a cutter from Josh Samm for a 2-run home run. The Party Boys, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
Hazard called the win "a team effort."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Slocum's Joe Seaside Stadium in Winthrop.

Game 4: Roxbury 7, Nordhagen Beach 5, 13 inn.
Roxbury Win Evens Series at 2
Beachboy Nut pitched effectively, but the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys still lost, 7-5, in extra innings to the Roxbury Rad Sox at Slocum's Joe Seaside Stadium. With the win, Roxbury took a 2-2 lead in the best-of-7 Sole Survivor Series. Nut pitched well, allowing 5 runs over 6.2 innings.
Roxbury used the timely hitting of Jeremy Schoolboy to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Rad Sox on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
In postgame comments, Schoolboy said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Slocum's Joe Seaside Stadium in Winthrop.
Game 5: Roxbury 3, Nordhagen Beach 0
Road Win Lifts Roxbury to 3-2 Lead in SSS
In a pivotal Game 5, the Roxbury Rad Sox were hoping for a big game from starter Oliver Oil. They got one.
The right-hander shut out the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 3-0 victory. The Rad Sox took the 3-0 win over the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Oil, the Roxbury right-hander, went 7.1 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits. He collected 8 strikeouts.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Oil.
The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, October 3rd , 2311 at Atomatoys Stadium at Roxbury in Roxbury.
