I feel like I mostly struggle and hyperfocus with the detail drawing an animal, but some of the birds I just get right away. I think maybe because those birds were smaller and I didn't use outlines for the flycatcher that it worked? I just made some jagged lines and called them feathers  I'll try again with that woodpecker |
