So here's what I did.
1) Make a rectangle on the area where you want your logo
2) Import the image as a texture. Place it within the rectangle. Reposition it so it looks good.
4) Reverse the face, and duplicate the texture so it doesn't show up as a black rectangle in game.

3) Select the area. Use the push/pull tool to raise the rectangle, I did 1/2".
4) The push/pull made a hole where the rectangle face was. Go under your infield, you'll see it. (I hide the logo so I can see it easier) Use the line tool to recreate the rectangle face.
5) Put the infield grass texture that you are using in the rectangle. You should now see grass behind the logo.
6) The push/pull also creates little edges around the rectangular logo area. If those bother you, you can select them individually and erase them. The logo should be unaffected. Test to see.
