Blackburn shorten the distance to just 2 games back from leaders Everton. The Rovers went 15-7-5 this month, including 8-1-2 at home! They're also 8-1 in one-run games. Needless to say, the Rovers are playing their best baseball since April behind Peter Neilson, who had a 1.89 ERA and 1.00 WHIP after 11 starts this month! On the hitting side, CF Leon Taylor has been pretty hot, slashing .306/.410/.490, driving in 20 runs. With 7 series left this month, the race is on!

Everton went a bit cold, with a 15-9-3 record for a .625 win%, compared to last month's .720. Their best pitcher was Oscar Swan, who threw a 2.79 ERA and 1.32 WHIP after 10 starts this month. On the hitting side, RF Harvey Dean (.268/.355/.464, 13 RBI) has been the hottest with the bat.
