Cultural/Historic sidenote for those interested: (I know nobody ask but this is something I have to say as a native mexican proud of my heritage.) Even though the "Aztec" empire and such other terms are popular, the correct term for them would be Mexica, Mexico-Tenochtitlan, Tenochca or Triple Alliance (the nahuatl name for this state was Exkan Tlahtoloyan: the three places that give orders). They never called themselves Aztecs, this is a name made up by gringo historians who thought referring to them as Mexican would be for some reason confusing. The term "aztec" is referring to their legend of coming from a place called Aztlán, which I think is ironic because why would you name them after the place and people they were actively trying to get away from. Nowadays, mexican historians/archeologists/etc shy away from using the term "aztec" in favor of using the more correct terms mentioned above. "Aztec" has been relegated to a sort of "common language" umbrella term for most of the nahuatl speaking communities of central Mexico.
