You think Stevie spends on both Peeeete and Bregman? That's a lot of jack, Jack.

Also, I'd rather have an extra spot open for the McNeil/Iglesias/Lindor/Acuņa/Vientos logjam. They can't all move to the OF. (Not to mention that the Mets don't have the best success record for moving infielders to CF [see Juan Samuel, Mike A. Marshall, Amed Rosario].)

Also, Ronny Mauricio might heal before the Apocalypse.

Also, making Vientos a full-time DH at such a young age might impede his development. (Pete hardly seems to like the "sitting and hitting" job. Why not show similar consideration for the younger player who's outhitting him this season…and who is more likely to be here next year?)

On a different subject, last week, Brandon Gaudin told his captive (via DirecTV edict) audience that the Atlanta music guy is named Clay Matthews. (Presumably not the NFL Hall of Famer or his multiple All-Pro son, albeit you never know.)

Matthews is still playing walk-up music for visiting players, which still seems to miss the point, IMO. But he's had some good ones, recently.

I'm not certain about his use of "Bingo" for Nimmo (trying to get the crowd to sing "N-I-M-M-O, Nimmo was his name-o"), but in the second game yesterday he did bust out The Hollies' "He Ain't Heavy (He's My Brother)" for Our Acuņa (fair enough) and then he finessed the "Iglesias means 'church'" issue by playing "Chapel of Love". Good work overall, I say.
