I nodded off during the KC-O's game and then started this game 45 minutes late and skipping out the ad breaks. [Side note: new for this postseason, the real broadcast ads are no longer filtered out for international viewers! Now I know why Americans are the way they are. From singing Zach Braff to your DIY colonoscopy-at-home set...]

Do the Matons have beef with another? Phil doesn't look like he wants to visit little brother Nick in Philly this weekend.

That's what I thought at least while he got his brains beaten out in the eighth inning, and only then found out that Nick Maton is no longer with the Philthies and has recently been designated to oblivion by the Orioles, who also were designated to oblivion by the Royals today.

True Metsian bottle job here. At one point Boog tallied the runners left stranded and the Mets were up 9-4 there while leading a skinny 3-2.

And that was before the Brewers threw shade on Maton.
