I can confirm that this is a great league to join! The slack chat is active and the baseball is competitive and the commissioner only prioritizes family over his fake-baseball friends some of the time. I think we get through 5 or so sim-seasons per year?
It's a tough league for a newbie because there are a lot of very experienced GMs (over half of them have been in this league for 4+ real-life years, I think)... but it's also a good league for a newbie becase most of those GMs are active in the slack chat and willing to help out someone who's new.
