I'm still upset at how McKinstry let that ball eat him up. Then to make matters worse the guy on the broadcast says he is an excellent defender. Well in 180 inning's at 3B this year this year his fielding percentage is .897 with all the defensive run saved metrics in the negative. So tell me in one sentence how you have never watched or paid any attention to the Tigers all year.

That being said I know the team doesn't actually have a 3B on the roster and that it is a glaring need going into the offseason. So I'm not going to bash Hinch for playing him there as he is trying to work his matchups in a specific sort of way. Just don't try to tell me he is an "excellent" (when he isn't even good) defender at 3B.

Also, isn't it baseball law for the ball to find your worst defender in the most important moments of a game???
