A 1-0 Rays win was about the last thing I expected tonight, especially given the lone run came on
Danny Charlton's homer in the 2nd and the staff (especially the bullpen) had to make it hold up for 8 innings. But somehow they did it, and the shaky team defense managed to do its job with Tampa Bay pitching combined for a mere two strikeouts.
Gabe Bryant had far from his best stuff tonight, but he gutted it out through 6 innings in his final start of the season keeping Memphis off the board, and then our top three relievers looked the part over the final three innings.
