The other thing you could try is setting that particular image to be 'read-only' to see if that makes a difference. I've not had to do it myself but there has been discussion in the FHM Discord about it as other users have issues with images being overwritten from time to time.
You will need to paste in the new image (making sure all other criteria is met) then right click that image, then at the bottom where it says 'Attributes' and has a check box for 'Read-Only' click that and then hit 'Apply' and see if that prevents the overwrite. Redownloaded it and saved it from an editor instead. All good.
