So really, what's the point of a connected feeder league if other leagues can also draft them?
If my relegation league has its own feeder, the NHL should not be able to draft/sign them. Entry level contracts can only come from the team that drafted you. For three years.
The only issue I could see is where do the pro/rel teams draft... which I'm sure could be just added into the draft lottery in a defined rank, which happens before the draft and after July 1.
I'm no dev, but logic says this should be doable.
