Agreed, I'm basically failing them every year because they don't make sense most of the time. Acquiring player with chemistry, draft a player from local town, improve team attendance (how? other than wins, i guess lower ticket prices?). These have turned out to be more nuisances than immersion.
I think having simpler goals would work a lot better. Make playoffs, get more wins than last year, win the cup (when your team is a contender), and then
very very occasionally have these more odd goals like acquire a player with chemistry / local kid.
