Another miracle comeback win...
Holy crap, they did it again! For most of the night the Rays' bats were as cold as the sub-freezing temperatures in Chicago on a night more fit for football or hockey as they trailed 4-1 after 7 in the World Series opener. But after getting a run back in the 8th they did their miracle 9th-inning thing again as
Junior Caminero delivered a game-tying 2-run homer with one out and then one out later
Marco Luciano, in the game only because
Isaac Cedillos was pinch-hit for the inning before, stepped up and won it with a 2-run shot of his own. With
Randy Rodriguez in a bad postseason slump,
Gerald Ogando got the ball in the 9th and mowed down the Cubs 1-2-3 to give Tampa Bay a shock Game 1 win. It'll be
Ryan Okuda tomorrow as the Rays look to continue their Cinderella run through the postseason.
