As in, you select the inputs prefight, re fighters, trainer, cutman, fight rules, location and each fighters fight preparedness, and strategy and then just let em at it and watch on with no ability to change or alter the actual fight once it's on.
Forgive me if I've oversimplified, and am more than happy to be corrected.

Yeah. You're more like a fighter's manager. You set him up and match him to make the most of his abilities then put him in the ring and let whatever happens happen. You're in his corner and may give advice but it doesn't mean he's going to listen.
I've steered guys towards championship fights but they don't always make it there, or get there without stumbling.
