I was really hoping that Johnny Lush could keep his dominant pitching going, but he ran into a tough Detroit Tiger team that got the best of him. On the day, the Tigers (54-53) topped the Boston Americans (61-46) by a 6 to 5 score. Despite the loss, the Americans remain in a tie for the top spot in the American League race.
