I get this idea. But to be honest, despite looking at this sheet, 40k points is not upgrading that card to level 5 guaranteed. Especially if you're using L10 prices.
As I mentioned, I literally spent 200k on 6 combinators. None made it to level 4. I lost the roll on 80% a couple times - there goes 50k+.
Tournament teams have 20 combinator cards at level 5. If you're doing that for less than $1000 dollars USD then congrats at beating the game, but never accomplishing anything with your base team.
Retire so the rest of us have a chance at a tourney or two.
