Possibly this is a composite of either the 1869 or 1870 Washington Olympics. The player in the centre is suggested to be a future leading baseball executive :- Nick Young.

Fergy Malone was with the Washington Olympics from 1868-1869 before returning to the Philadelphia Athletics in 1870 so my guess is this is from 1869.
