Found it very easy to pick up every top Czech or USSR player when they were available (P.Klima, A.Mogilny, S.Fedorov for instance). AI was not interested to sign them on the first July and try to compete against my offers.

Possibility to draft USSR players before 1990 could maybe help the problem?
