A sad end...
The Rays went out with a whimper not a bang as they were shut out in the decisive Game 3 of their Wild Card Series with Detroit. They couldn't generate anything all night and it was emblematic of the entire series as they were very fortunate to eke out Game 1 1-0. At least they were spared a beatdown from Baltimore.
