Picking up the victory today was Jesse Tannehill (14-16) who allowed 4 runs (2 earned) on 9 hits, 1 walk, and 1 hit batsman; Game Score 58. Wiley Piatt (12-17) was tagged with the loss after allowing 8 runs (7 earned) on 11 hits and 2 walks in 5 1/3 innings of play; Game Score 16. Ed Doheny pitched 2 2/3 innings of scoreless ball before turning pitching over to Win Kellum's final 1 inning of scoreless play.

The Boston scoring machine was powered by Bill Lange (2 for 4, Homerun, 2 Runs, 2 RBIs), Jesse Tannehill (2 for 4, Homerun, 2 Runs, 2 RBIs), John Farrell (3 for 4, Double, 2 Runs), and Solly Hofman (2 for 4, Double, Run, Walk, Stolen Base).
