NEBL All-Star Game
New England Baseball League put its best players on the field today, and the game certainly showed that.
In the annual Midseason Classic, the Patriot League came out over the Yankee League by a final score of 10-3. Leading the way for the Patriot League All-Stars was third baseman
Beyemeff Pitt.
"I go out there and do my best every game, All-Star game or not," the star said after his great show, going 2-for-2 in the contest.
HR Challenge
The 2313 Home Run Challenge had some fierce competition, but coming out the victor was Jackie Shepherd, the slugging first baseman from the Arlington Caps. He bested Pauwoo Leopardskin in the final round by a score of 11-10.
"I just wanted to put on a show for the fans," he said as he hoisted the championship trophy. "They wanted home runs, and I was happy to deliver for them."
Rosters
The Patriot League All-Stars versus the Yankee League All-Stars. It happens every year halfway through the season. It's a baseball spectacle for the fans and the players alike. It's the 2313 New England Baseball League All-Star Game. The fans get to see all their favorite stars perform in the same game, and the outstanding players get to play against each other. The players are out to prove that their league is the best. Players are chosen by a vote of the fans.

MML All-Star Game
The Stars League All-Stars have bragging rights for the year after beating the Legends League All-Stars by a score of 20-1 at Suffolk County Field.
Stars League star Dusty Ironsight played a key role in the win, going 2 for 3 to lead his team.
HR Challenge
Ground Control to Major Tom: We have a champion in this year's Home Run Challenge. Tony Bigfish is his name. The Suffolk County Pink Goo right fielder launched rocket after rocket into orbit en route to the title.
He topped Charles Towner in the final round by a score of 9-8.
"I knew it would be tough," said Bigfish. "I knew it would take my best effort."

CCBL Awards
Hitter - He may have less experience than most of his Commonwealth Collegiate Baseball League peers, but that didn't slow Stud Colgan down at all in 2313.
At the age of 19, the Assumption second baseman has been named the winner of the Commonwealth Collegiate Baseball League Top Collegiate Hitter Award.
He had a .435 batting average and a .556 on-base percentage this year. In 59 games he piled up 90 hits, 20 doubles, 2 triples, 21 home runs, 62 RBIs and 71 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 30 first place votes out of a possible 32. Haystack Black of the Revere College Riders finished second in voting, while Allen Strickland of the Tufts University Jumbos finished third with 2 first place votes.

Pitcher - The Northeastern Huskies have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Bullets Barnes, this year's Commonwealth Collegiate Baseball League Top Collegiate Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.
Barnes compiled a 12-1 record in 15 starts, tallied 88 strikeouts in 103.2 innings and recorded a 2.17 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .259 batting average against him.
He received 30 first place votes out of a possible 32. Gregory King of the WNEU Statesmen finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Gomer Brown of the WNEU Statesmen finished third.

Reliever - Michael Rushmore said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 20 years old.
But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Harvard Crimson rising star has won the Commonwealth Collegiate Baseball League Top Collegiate Reliever Award for 2313.
He captured the award on the strength of his 1.01 ERA over 26.2 innings. He also had 3 saves in 26 relief appearances, 25 strikeouts and only 10 walks.
He received 31 first place votes out of a possible 32. George Gardner of the Winthrop College Guardians finished second in voting, while Bang Bang Sweetman of the Nuka University Mixologists finished third with 1 first place vote.

Commonwealth Basketball Association
The Commonwealth Basketball Association, CBA, will begin play in October with eight professional teams and 32 minor league teams. Commissioner Flash Buzzworthy of Diamond City had the idea to create another league to mirror the success of the CBO.
"It's time for more sports," Buzzworthy said in his radio announcement on Diamond City Radio.
Buzzworthy stated that there would be two divisions of four teams competing for the chance to compete in the Commonwealth Championship, a seven-game series between the two best teams.
North Division teams will be the Cambridge Tigers, Con-Lex Bolts, Medford Irish, and Salem Shadows. In the South Division, teams will be the Airport Aviators, Boston Bugles, Quincy Ironclads, and Southie Jammers.
In the minor leagues, most of the teams will operate as independent franchises, while eight will be affiliated with the CBA team. The minor league will be named the New England Developmental League.
In the North Division, teams will be the Augusta Cats, Concord (NH) Colonels (Salem), Dover Dinos, Far Harbor Mystics, Manchester Metros (Cambridge), Portland Irish (Medford), Portsmouth Hoops, and Rockland Defenders.
In the Downtown Division, teams will be the Bunker Hill Storm, Diamond City Heroes, Everett Rattlers, Goodneighbor Outlaws, Jamaica Plain Thunderbirds (Airport), Lynn Superstars, Roxbury Bees, and Vault 88 Flame.
In the West Division, teams will be the Brattleboro Explorers, Hartford Beetles, New Britain Coyotes, New Haven Buckaroos, Nuka World Wheelz (Boston), Springfield Bison, Sturbridge Mammoths, and Worcester Elk.
Finally, in the East Division, teams will be the Brockton Spartans (Con-Lex), Cape Cod Anchors, Dartmouth Beams, Fall River Sailors, Plymouth Sea Dogs (Quincy), Providence Hits, Sandwich Royals (Southie), and Taunton Timberjacks.
