The 5-for-5 effort with the bat raised Craven’s average from .393 to .411, good for fourth place in the NYL. His OPS of .978 places him third in the league.
Atlantic currently sits atop the Brooklyn Championship with a 19-11 record, two games ahead of Continental & Excelsior, three games ahead of Eckford, and four games ahead of Kings County & Nassau County. Time will tell who takes the Brooklyn pennant, but this much is known: it will be a race to the finish.
