The Jays got in a big hole early but never gave up.
In the end, though, they left the bases loaded in the 9th and fell, 11-9, to the Red Sox.
Kevin Dowdell, Mike Trout, and Reid Long all homered for Toronto. It was Trout's 30th for the year.
