AL Wildcard Series
AL Central match up as the Royals face the division-winning White Sox for the first time in the postseason since losing the ALCS 4-1 in 2030. The White Sox went on to win the World Series that year, someone that has eluded this generation of Royals. While the White Sox won the division, the Royals won the regular season match up 8-5, suggesting an interesting series on our hands. The winners will move on to play the Blue Jays in the Division Series.

The Royals season ends at the hands of the White Sox for the second time in four years as the Kansas City hitting corps is shut down by two home-grown Chicago pitchers. The Royals fought for the whole season but couldn’t replicate the 2031 or 2032 teams in putting wins together and relying on hitting proved fatal when it came to the postseason. Another season of Playoff baseball, however, shouldn’t be dismissed and the team is better than on the first day of the season.
The Blue Jays are crowned the 2033 Champions, winning their first World Series since back-to-back titles in 1992 and 1993. It was a dominant postseason for Toronto, the Canadian team only dropping two games, sweeping the White Sox before consecituve 4-1 wins over the Mariners and the Cubs.
The Cubs had reached the World Series with a comfortable sweep of the Marlins before taking all seven games to eliminate the Dodgers.

Owner Goals Review
A mixed bag on the goals set by John Sherman. The immediate goals of upgrading at Catcher and improving Stolen Bases were failed (although Bobby Witt Jr. had strong year), while fans will debate whether the team is better placed to win a Championship than at the end of last season. Fan Interest continues to improve and the acquisition of Drew Burress accomplished the Great Glove goal.
