The "Brooklyn" lettering and general style of the uniform in the excellent colorization of Manush indicate that he is wearing the 1936 uniform. As he was not with Brooklyn in 1936 it indicates that the image was shot in Spring Training 1937.
Note the difference in the no frills B on the cap and the comparative lettering on the following Morgan image.
If the intention was to show Manush in the 1937 uniform here is an alternate example.
