If you have never ever played the game, I would suggest you consider buying the current game at a steep discount, in order to get familiar with game play. If you like it, you could then invest in 26 when it comes out. Just a thought. (To me, mostly retired and living on a fixed income, the cost of the game is low when I consider the hours of playing. I waste more dollars on TV streaming services I barely ever watch. But each person of course makes his/her own financial decisions, and I don't presume or judge.)
