While the depth remains in the Royals system (21 players in the top 200, 9 in the top 100), the spread age wise is a little more even with a couple of top prospects at AA level to go with several MLB-ready players either on the roster or starting at AAA.

After the glut of MLB players on the list in 2038 it is perhaps not surprising to see fewer this year although with only two even at AAA level this may not be the year of rookie impact.
