Alfonso Flores had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the
Chicago Rangers, 13-4. The loss puts
Chicago at 7-3.
Flores contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped
Montreal get the win.
"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said
Flores. The 29-year old is batting .250-4-7 .900OPS in 10 games. Together with three-hit games by

Montreal Expos, 6-3, at Olympic Stadium. Leading the charge for
Chicago was first baseman
Justin Farrell. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The 2x All-Star is batting .213-2-9 .686OPS in 11 games.
Jared Hughes, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.2 innings. The 2015 Reliever of the Year is 1-0 5.79 3K in 4.2IP in the early going.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when designated hitter
David Ibarra hit a double. The
Rangers went on to win.

Riding the 2-hit performance of the 29-year old catcher
Steve Fitch, the
Montreal Expos stopped the
Pittsburgh Kings, 6-2. Picking up the save was two-time All-Star
Ryan Rasbach. The
Kings fall to 6-8 and continue to sputter in the early going.
Montreal used a well-timed hit by
Dan Cook to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the
Expos ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important. The switch-hitter is batting .340-2-7 1.011OPS in 14 games.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said
Fitch. "You've got to get results." The veteran catcher hit his first home run of the campaign today, going 2-4 2R 2RBI.
Adrian Hilscher opened his 2021 with a scoreless outing, but only managed to go 4.2 innings and could not collect the W.

Brent Perino into a win over the
Montreal Expos at PMC Park. The
Kings won the game by a final score of 6-0. The loss has the

Perino allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7.2 innings for
Pittsburgh. With the win, the southpaw is 1-0 with an ERA of 2.66.
