Adam Baker. The
Royals right fielder was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. The
Expos fall to 6-11 and continue their sputtering start to the 2021 season.
With
Kansas City leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth,
Baker hit a fastball from
Chris Ball for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the
Royals ahead, 6-1. The rookie moved to .197-1-9 .547OPS in 17 games.
Kansas City manager Ryan Johnson praised his team's "businesslike approach."
