I’ve seen this elsewhere but have not been able to find a solution. Had played the game for over 50 hours, but upon a reinstall (I am using steam) I started getting a fatal error - cannot create folder saved_games. I’ve uninstalled, tried to clear all files, reinstalled to the same issue. Verified game files, still the same issue. Even went in to the files where I could see the folder of saved_games, deleted it, still the same issue.

I decided, screw it I’ll just upgrade to OOTP 25. Why not. Downloaded, installed this time not on steam…. fatal error, could not open target folder or install game data. I’m at a loss.

Edit; So I’m sure there’s an easier fix but I rebooted my entire computer and it’s now working like a dream.
