Big Win for Gamblers Fletcher, Gets Save #300
stadiumreport.bbn June 9th, 2021
With one well-thrown pitch,
Las Vegas's 32-year-old reliever
Noah Fletcher(32, 3.5*) found himself a new place in the record books. As the teams left the field at the end of the Gamblers 7-5 win over
Seattle Mariners, the official scorer gave
Fletcher the save, making him the newest member of the 300-save club. The T-Mobile Park crowd recognized this outstanding achievement with a standing ovation as he made his way to the dugout.
Fletcher has saved 300 games in his career with 716 strikeouts in 727.1 innings pitched. He has also racked up a 54-59 record and a 2.77 ERA and a career total of 22.1WAR. Since his debut in 2010, he has been named an All-Star five times and was the 2018 WL Reliever of the Year.

Kansas City Held Hitless by Eisenberg
stadiumreport.bbn June 9th, 2021
Is it better to be lucky or good?
After leading the
New York Mets to victory, 6-0, and tossing a no-hitter over the
Kansas City Royals,
Josh Eisenberg(26, 2.5*) didn't have the answer.
"I don't know,"
Eisenberg said. "To do what I did today, I'm pretty sure it takes both."
On his big day at Citi Field,
Eisenberg fanned 8 and had 3 walks. And it seemed that when the
Royals managed to hit the ball hard, it went right at a defender.
"That's how you get a no-hitter,"
Eisenberg said with a smile. "A lot of skill mixed with a little luck."
In 12 starts this season,
Eisenberg has fashioned a 5-4 record and a 4.99 ERA, striking our 50 in 66.2 innings of work.
