San Francisco Red Devils first baseman
Gary Hinojosa had a magnificent game against the
Los Angeles Angels, rocketing three balls out of Angel Stadium of Anaheim to help the
Red Devils win, 13-12.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game,
Hinojosa went 3-for-5 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives,"
San Francisco manager Micah Lavelle said later. "Seems like
Gary found his home run stroke today."
Gary Hinojosa flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off
Alberto Vilchis in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off
Alberto Vilchis in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off
Kevin Binkley in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th and walked in the 10th.
