Mike Massie led the
Blue Jays to a triumph, 13-5, over the
Chicago Rangers, crushing three home runs.
"He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said
Toronto skipper Art Tierney.
Indeed,
Massie put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 4 runs and 7 RBIs.
"I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames,"
Massie said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em."

Salt Lake City win, 6-2, over
Portland at Bearsdome.
Ken Connolly singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off
Henry Rodriguez in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off
David Cabrera in the 9th.
