Attached is a 1924 image of Hall of Fame pitcher Herb Pennock with the New York Yankees.
Twelve years after making his Major League debut, 1924 marked Pennock's first 20 game winning season, posting a 21-9 record. He finished 4th in MVP standings in 1924.
Pennock commenced his 22 year career with the Philadelphia Athletics, then pitched for the Red Sox from mid season 1915 before joining the Yankees prior to the 1923 season. He stayed with the Yankees before finishing his career back with the Red Sox in 1934 his final season. Left handed pitcher Pennock amassed 241 wins over his career. He was a switch hitter with a career batting average of .191
