Changes prior to the 1895 season
England - First Division
- Rotherham Town were relegated to the Second Division
- Darwen were promoted to the First Division

England - Second Division
- Walsall were not re-elected into the League, opting to join the Midlands League instead. This is not the last we'll see of them.
- Loughborough join the League

Scotland - Division One
- Dundee were relegated to Division Two
- Abercorn were promoted to Division One

Scotland - Division Two
- Dundee Wanderers resigned from the League, they would join the Northern League in the coming years, but lost their ground and had to play every game as a visitor. The club dissolved in 1913.
- Cowlairs also resigned from the League, the club would dissolve in 1896.
- Kilmarnock are invited to join the league
- Linthouse are invited to join the league

Ireland - No changes

Argentina
- St. Andrew's resign from the league, they would disappear shortly after.
- Lobos resign from the league.
- Rosario Athletic resign from the league. They'd get invited to a friendly cup in 1900, and were founding members of the Rosario Football League in 1905, but this branch of the club got dissolved in 1916.
- Lomas' academy is allowed to join the league.
- Buenos Aires English High School are back in the league.
- Quilmes are back in the league.
- Retiro join the league.

We also have a new league: say hello to the Belgian Coupe de Championnat! This is the first professional baseball league outside the British Isles. They have 7 clubs in their inaugural season: Léopold Club de Bruxelles, Union d'Ixelles, Racing Club de Bruxelles, Liège, Sporting Club de Bruxelles, Antwerp, and Brugge.
